The thin Obi belt highlights the waist, it is cut on the contrasting towards of the same jacquard fabric . But the AJISAÏ KIMONO can also be worn without an Obi belt, since it is crossed left to right and closed on each side with ties which hold it securely in place.
The neckline is cut on the contrasting reverse side of the textile, as are all the hem finishes.

The manufacturing of all our kimonos is carried out by hand in our workshops in Grenoble. Cut with scissors by hand then assembled with so-called English seams, or double seams (to contain the textile edges in the seam) for perfect finishes.
The kimono is cut in a textile BIO jacquard labeled ŒKOTEX 100, high-end woven in France. The floral pattern is obtained by weaving.

In close partnership with our regional weaver, After having fine-tuned the patterns and quality of the yarns, we have the necessary lengths woven p our processing of your orders, in order to limit dormant stocks of fabrics and save energy.
Then, once the textiles are delivered in our artisanal workshop in Grenoble, it is the cutting and sewing stage according to the rules of the art.
All our time is dedicated to working by hand, with meticulousness and precision. We are always looking to work with the best level of quality and desired finish. No hasty overlock sewing, but beautiful English seams according to the rules of the art, for make the kimono reversible.
