Description

HANAÏ reversible brown-ochre kimono

The colors of the HANAÏ kimono evoke honey touched by a ray of light. Amber brown, ochre, burnt orange, and rosy gray harmonize in perfect balance. One might imagine the joyful life of bees around their hives. Then comes the pleasure of wearing this piece, discovering its other side, and choosing, depending on the day, the shade you wish to reveal.

Its long sleeves end in cuffs that can be folded back to create generous turn-ups. Side ties allow you to close the kimono; the matching OBI belt accentuates the waist. Reversible, HANAÏ offers two ways to inhabit its colors and pattern.

The HANAÏ kimono was born from a silhouette study conducted by the CATHERINE VALENTIN fashion house. Its pattern takes shape in a jacquard woven exclusively by our weaver in France. The kimono is then cut and crafted by hand, to order, in our Grenoble workshop. From the development of the design to its finishing touches, each step contributes to a unique piece, designed to be worn and reinterpreted for a long time.

The HANAÏ kimono fits into several silhouette rhythms:

  • Slender with the brown/black JUPI tube skirt
  • Dynamic, dancing with the khaki KATSU or slate gray HISHI hakama trousers
  • Layered under the looser, short-sleeved aubergine YUTTARI kimono or the pollen ANSHI kimono, worn open or closed with their side ties

Our delivery times are between 3 and 5 weeks.

The jacquard fabric is Organic and Oeko-Tex 100 certified. Composition: 20% organic cotton, 20% organic viscose, 57% recycled polyester, and 3% polyamide.
