At CATHERINE VALENTIN, the MIZUIRO collection is a line born from a sensation: that of water flowing over rocks, transparent and streaked with blue-green reflections that no light can ever quite capture. Its color changes with the movement, the depth, and the time of day. This inspiration accompanies the end of summer, when the light finally softens.
The centerpiece of the collection is the water-green KINOKO kimono. Reversible, it is cut from a floral jacquard fabric textured in shades of water green, moss brown, and grey, exclusive to our fashion house.
Worn with the black JUPI tube skirt, the silhouette lengthens, while the look becomes more dynamic with the hakama trousers. For layering, the YUTTARI kimono, featuring a new, looser cut, can be worn open or closed with its side ties.
Thus, patterns, materials, and volumes engage in a dialogue to prolong this sensation of fluidity and allow you to compose your own preferred personal silhouette—elegant, comfortable, and with that precious feeling of never dressing like everyone else.
