Nature restores me

My choice of materials, patterns, and colors is directly inspired by times of contemplation spent especially in the mountains, since they surround me daily. They have no equal in making me feel a gentle inner melancholy and the discreet elegance of time passing.

I also love observing details of vegetation, the opulence of a clump of wisteria, a tuft of grass in spring, a jumble of dried branches in summer, to translate the braiding of a textile weave.

The kimono obi , this almost theatrical piece, applied arts, Zen philosophy, wabi-sabi ...

All this insular and distant culture, subtle and authentic, with an omnipresent symbolism transports me to another time where slowness is always praised.

Japonism nourishes me

This period represents for me an infinite source to reinvent myself, nourish my soul , my feelings and my creation.

This new artistic movement from the end of the 19th century, directly inspired by the discovery of Japanese prints , places femininity in the natural element, while seeking to translate the interiority of the human psyche .

During this period, he expressed a strong desire to move away from reality towards a more positive and joyful vision, with the sole aim of beautifying life . We will find Paul Poiret in fashion, Nabis in painting, Eric Satie in music...
