MITSU kimono, blue/aubergine floral pattern

The flowers catch the eye, then the jacquard invites you to come closer. On the aubergine background, dusty beige and greyish blue are gradually revealed through nuances and texture. From this contrast emerges the look of MITSU: enveloping, unique, and understated. Something very intimate, discovered as you wear it.

Its long sleeves end in cuffs that can be turned back to form generous turn-ups. The side tie closures and the OBI belt to cinch the waist highlight an original silhouette. Reversible, the MITSU kimono allows you to vary your look as you please; worn with a blue hakama, KOJIMA or JINSU, it echoes the cool accents of the pattern.

For the MITSU kimono, the CATHERINE VALENTIN fashion house sought a secret beauty, born from an extraordinary marriage of colors: greyish blue and dusty beige on an aubergine background. The floral design takes shape in a jacquard woven exclusively by our weaver, labeled as a Living Heritage Company (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) in France. The kimono is then cut and made by hand, to order, in our Grenoble workshop. The cutting and adjustment process follows the pattern so that it finds its place on the silhouette, from the bust to the sleeves.

The MITSU kimono coordinates with:

• KOJIMA hakama pants in blue or black, HISHI in slate grey, NESUMI in grey, JIMA in black, and KURO in black;
• the JUPI skirt in black for a more slender silhouette;
• The YUTTARI kimono, which is looser and features short sleeves, can be worn over it, either open or closed with its side ties.

Our delivery times are between 3 and 5 weeks.

The jacquard fabric is Oeko-Tex 100 certified. Composition: 20% organic cotton, 20% organic viscose, 57% recycled polyester, and 3% polyamide.

CATHERINE VALENTIN is a fashion house with the Artisan d’Art de France label.

Each piece is made to order in our workshop in Grenoble .

We partner with a regional weaver to create our exclusive jacquards, then cut and sew only after order. No dormant stock: each kimono is designed for you, with high-quality finishes, such as French seams that make our models reversible.

Allow approximately 3 weeks to receive your unique piece.

Payment is 100% secure via Stripe (credit card), PayPal or in 3 installments with Alma.

Delivery
Each kimono is shipped via Colissimo with a signature required. You can also pick up your order for free in Grenoble (click & collect) by appointment. The average delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks, allowing time for your piece to be made to order.

Returns
Returns are possible in France within 7 days of receipt, in the original packaging and in new condition (without stains or odors). Refunds are issued within 14 days via the payment method used.
