Like a sheer embroidery laid on the skin, the NODO Kimono reinvents the white blouse with the grace of French jacquard. Its tone-on-tone filigree floral pattern creates a subtle embroidered effect — discreet in natural light, luminous under evening lights.

Cut from a high-density brocade-style jacquard, woven in France by weavers certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, and certified Organic and Oeko-Tex 100, the NODO can be worn crossed, held by its inner ties, with or without an OBI belt depending on your mood. Its long, slightly flared sleeves end with wide, generous cuffs — convertible into 3/4 sleeves.

Finished with French seams without overlock: all seams are enclosed, nothing protrudes. A craftsmanship requirement visible even in the invisible details.

Who are we? Catherine Valentin is a French fashion house specializing in kimonos and Japanese-inspired silhouettes, handcrafted in Grenoble. All our textiles are woven in France by weavers certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, in high-density brocade-style jacquard, certified Organic and Oeko-Tex 100.

Each piece is made to order in our workshop in Grenoble .

We partner with a regional weaver to create our exclusive jacquards, then cut and sew only after order. No dormant stock: each kimono is designed for you, with high-quality finishes, such as French seams that make our models reversible.

Delivery
Each kimono is shipped via Colissimo with a signature required. You can also pick up your order for free in Grenoble (click & collect) by appointment. The average delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks, allowing time for your piece to be made to order.

Returns
Returns are possible in France within 7 days of receipt, in the original packaging and in new condition (without stains or odors). Refunds are issued within 14 days via the payment method used.
