Like a soft note laid on the skin, the BANIRA vanilla hakama trousers envelop the silhouette with a rare fluidity. Its matte vanilla shade—neither beige nor cream—elegantly complements all the house's kimonos, from immaculate white to deep black.

Cut from a heavy, flowing viscose crepe, the BANIRA is inspired by the traditional Japanese hakama cut: dropped crotch, numerous pleats front and back, two large side pockets. Mounted on a waistband with a side zipper, it can be worn at the waist or on the hips depending on the desired silhouette.

Artisanally made in Grenoble with French seams, no overlock. Available from size 34 to 46 and in 3 leg lengths (95, 100, 105 cm). Custom-made possible.

Who are we? Catherine Valentin is a French fashion house specializing in kimonos, hakamas, and Japanese-inspired silhouettes, artisanally made in Grenoble. All our textiles are woven in France by weavers labeled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company), in high-density jacquard like brocade, certified Organic and Oeko-Tex 100.

Each piece is made to order in our workshop in Grenoble .

We partner with a regional weaver to create our exclusive jacquards, then cut and sew only after order. No dormant stock: each kimono is designed for you, with high-quality finishes, such as French seams that make our models reversible.

Delivery
Each kimono is shipped via Colissimo with a signature required. You can also pick up your order for free in Grenoble (click & collect) by appointment. The average delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks, allowing time for your piece to be made to order.

Returns
Returns are possible in France within 7 days of receipt, in the original packaging and in new condition (without stains or odors). Refunds are issued within 14 days via the payment method used.
