FAQ

Products & Collections

What types of parts do you offer?

We create kimonos, hakama pants, skirts, and obi belts, handcrafted in our workshop in Grenoble. Each design combines Japanese inspiration with contemporary elegance.

Are your textiles responsible?

Yes. All our jacquards are woven in France, Oeko-Tex 100 certified, and contain organic cotton and recycled fibers.

Are your fabrics suitable for clothing?

Absolutely. Our jacquards are woven exclusively for our company, specially designed for clothing: soft, flowing, and comfortable, unlike heavier upholstery jacquards.

Do you use natural materials?

Our premium fabrics are breathable, comfortable to wear, and certified free of harmful substances. Depending on the yarn, they are labeled GOTS (organic cotton), FFP (viscose and acetate from wood), or recycled (polyester). Their silky appearance adds shine and fluidity to our kimonos.

Can the kimono open?

No. It crosses left side over right and is held in place by inner and outer ties, before the waistband. No buttons are necessary.

Is the Obi belt reversible?

No, but for some models we offer an Obi cut from the other side of the fabric, as a complement.

Is it easy to tie the belt?

Yes, just tie a simple knot, like you would with shoelaces. Just make sure to keep the ends flat.

Sizes & Fit

How do I choose my size?

A size guide is available to help you. If you're unsure, we generally recommend choosing the larger size or contacting us for personalized advice.

Do you offer custom-made services?

Yes. Each piece can be tailored to your exact measurements. Contact us before ordering.

Are your sizes French?

As our cuts are specific, we have our own grading. Equivalences are indicated in our size guide .

Are your kimonos suitable for different body shapes?

Yes. Thanks to our range of sizes and custom-made options, our kimonos and hakamas fit both petite and fuller figures.
