Reversible kimonos SHAYOU, NODO, HINTO, KAGOME, SHOGUN, hakamas NESUMI, JIMA, KOJIMA, and OBI NODO belt — all handcrafted in Grenoble using French seams without overlocking. High-density brocade-style jacquard textiles, woven in France, certified Organic & Oeko-Tex 100.

Who are we? Catherine Valentin is a French fashion house specializing in kimonos, hakamas, and Japanese-inspired silhouettes, handcrafted in Grenoble. All our textiles are woven in France by weavers labeled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, in high-density brocade-style jacquard, certified Organic and Oeko-Tex 100.
What does the SURU – Metal collection include? 10 pieces: reversible kimonos (SHAYOU white/black/red geometric, NODO white filigree floral, NODO black floral, HINTO burgundy tie pattern, KAGOME blue/red diamonds, SHOGUN black/grey/ochre geometric), hakamas (NESUMI grey chevron, JIMA black viscose crepe pinstripe, KOJIMA grey denim), OBI wide belt NODO black floral. Dominant colors: black, grey, burgundy, white, blue/red.
Materials & commitments: Organic cotton, Organic viscose, FSC viscose, FSC acetate, recycled polyester, elastane. French seams without overlocking. Sizes 34–46, custom-made possible. Made in France, Label Artisan d'Art de France.

Pour le moment j’ai juste essayé le pantalon avec le kimono en vue de le porter lors d’une cérémonie de mariage cet été. Les deux pièces me vont parfaitement bien. Elles sont superbes: Qualité du tissu de la façon et du style. Merci encore.
