Description

Reversible mint green KINOKO Kimono for those days when you decide that beauty can't wait.

The KINOKO kimono carries with it the sweet nostalgia of late summer. When the ocean loses its transparency, when the sky is veiled in pearly grey, and when the light, more tangential, reveals unexpected glints on the surface.

The reversible KINOKO kimono is cut from a brocade-style jacquard textile. Highly textured, the pattern on a fir green background features clouds of mint green flowers, punctuated by tiny bouquets of tawny brown flowers. Luminous, the colours gently usher in autumn and capture the light with the same subtle, changing quality as the ocean's surface.

The OBI belt matching the kimono cinches the waist and provides a more fitted silhouette. The KINOKO kimono can be worn without the OBI belt thanks to the side ties that keep it securely in place on the bust.

Several possible silhouettes with the KINOKO kimono:

  • the black JUPI tube skirt, for a long, graphic, and refined look
  • the black JIMA or slate grey ISHI hakama trousers for a more dynamic and flowing line.
  • worn over the loose, short-sleeved black YUTTARI kimono, worn open or layered and closed with the side ties.

The KINOKO Kimono is designed and handmade to order in Grenoble in the artisanal tradition of the CATHERINE VALENTIN house, certified Artisan d'Art de France.

The organic jacquard textile is Oeko-Tex 100 certified · 20% organic cotton, 20% organic viscose, 57% recycled polyester, 3% polyamide, woven exclusively for our fashion house.
